On 25.02.2025, the Financial Intelligence Agency continued with awareness-raising and information meetings on the Education Strategy at the offices of the National Albanian Real Estate Association (NAREA).

The continuity of this meeting and the potential role that the private sectors have in the contribution and cooperation within the framework of the Technical Inter-Institutional Working Group (TIWG) were emphasized.

During the meeting, the discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and improving the work of NAREA members, with a focus on educating clients on money laundering and terrorist financing (ML/TF) issues, as well as the risk that this phenomenon poses to our society.

FIA representatives emphasized that raising public awareness on the risk of ML/TF is very important, where the private sector has a very large weight in this process, being involved through engagement in training sessions or drafting information brochures on ML/TF issues.

At the end of the organized meeting, representatives of both institutions emphasized the importance and continuity of strengthening effective communication and achieving the most concrete results possible.
