As part of the support provided by the European Union, the German Government, and international partners to strengthen the rule of law and advance Albania’s progress towards EU integration, the ceremony presenting the second phase of the EU4LEA project was held.

In the framework of this activity, institutions at both the national and international level participated, including the Financial Intelligence Agency (AIF).

The Financial Intelligence Agency is one of the main beneficiaries of this project, which aims to enhance institutional capacities in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, strengthen inter-institutional cooperation mechanisms, and increase financial transparency in line with European standards.

FIA expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the German Government, GIZ Albania, European Union Delegation to Albania and the EU4LEA project for their continuous support and valuable contribution to modernizing financial intelligence capacities and strengthening Albania’s role in upholding the rule of law and advancing European integration.
