On March 6, 2023, the General Director of the Financial Intelligence Agency (FI), Mr. Ervin Koçi, held a meeting with representatives of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO), following the cooperation and very fruitful meetings with the Embassy of Switzerland in Albania and its Ambassador Mrs. Ruth Huber.

In this meeting, Mr. Koçi expressed his gratitude for the continuous help and support that SECO has given to Albania and in particular for offering a wide range of options for online trainings from ECOFEL, already attended by FIA employees and that will continue to be followed with equal interest in the future. During the meeting, Mr. Koçi made a presentation of the agency’s activities and objectives in the future. The discussions also focused on deepening cooperation and ensuring the sustainability of Albania’s progress, in the fight against money laundering and terrorism financing, as well as the financing by SECO of a long-term project in Albania, related to these areas.
