As part of the “Open Days” activity and the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme State Audit Institution, the Financial Intelligence Agency participated in a meeting held with students of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana.
Among the invited guests at this activity was the General Director of the Financial Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ervin Koçi, while discussions focused on the importance of transparency, oversight, and management of public finances, as well as on strengthening interinstitutional cooperation and creating opportunities for the professional development of students.
During his remarks, the Chairman of the Supreme State Audit Institution, Mr. Arben Shehu, emphasized that interinstitutional coordination creates greater synergies in combating negative phenomena and contributes to strengthening institutional integrity and good governance.
The activity served as a valuable opportunity for discussions with students and academic staff on the challenges and perspectives in the field of public finance, institutional integrity, and the role of institutions in promoting accountability and good governance.
