On July 30, 2025, the Financial Intelligence Agency had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Embassy of the United States of America in Albania to its premises, namely Mr. Daniel C. Carroll, Director of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Bureau, and Ms. Sarmela Dibra Titka, INL Program Specialist.

The meeting marked the beginning of a collaboration with Mr. Daniel C. Carroll, who has recently started his mandate in Albania. During the meeting, experiences and ideas were exchanged regarding shared priorities in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. The importance of close cooperation was also emphasized, and both parties committed to further strengthening this partnership.

The Financial Intelligence Agency remains committed to developing sustainable relationships with international partners as part of its efforts to ensure the security, integrity, and transparency of Albania’s financial system.
