On September 4, 2025, the Financial Intelligence Agency had the pleasure of welcoming to its premises representatives of the Embassy of France in Albania: Mr. Hugues Chevalier, Customs Attaché and Mr. Thierry Baures, Internal Security Attaché at the French Embassy.

During the meeting, the importance of mutual cooperation and inter-institutional information exchange was emphasized, in order to strengthen joint efforts in combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

The Financial Intelligence Agency expressed its appreciation for this commitment, considering the meeting as a continuation of the solid cooperation and with concrete prospects for further developments in areas of common interest.
