On 13 February 2026, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Financial Intelligence Agency of Albania and the Financial Intelligence Unit of Kosovo, with the participation of the heads of both institutions and the directors of the financial analysis departments.
The meeting was conducted in the spirit of close and sustainable interinstitutional cooperation, with a focus on the operational and strategic dimensions, as well as on meeting the highest international standards. The expansion of cooperation beyond bilateral contacts was also discussed, through regional initiatives and broader coordination, with the objective of increasing the resilience of the financial system and improving the joint response to shared risks affecting the region.
This meeting confirms the close institutional partnership between the two institutions, as well as their shared commitment to intensified cooperation and capacity building in the prevention and combating of financial crime.
